Luke Evans has confirmed that he has exited The Crow's planned reboot.
The Dracula Untold actor's representative has announced that he recently chose to bow out of the Corin Hardy-directed project, reports TheWrap.
Evans had made comments hinting at his departure from The Crow late last year, although his exact status was not confirmed until Saturday (January 24).
He joined Relativity Media's long-gestating reboot of the 1994 action movie back in 2013, when Francisco Javier Gutiérrez was scheduled to direct.
Gutiérrez exited the project last summer, leading the studio to hire The Hallow filmmaker Hardy.
Relativity Media first announced its intentions to reboot The Crow more than five years ago.
Other actors linked to the project in the past include Alexander Skarsgård, Bradley Cooper, Channing Tatum, James McAvoy and Tom Hiddleston.
