^ doubt this is going to be produced by Amy Wong after all she is producing the one with Anthony and Aimee during May as well. Kevin may be in this one or the one with Anthony ... depends. The male lead for this one is said to be either Raymond or Kevin so yea.

OMG, is Louisa So doing another show? That's nice ^^ Looking forward to seeing her back on screen (didn't think her role in Hippocratic Crush II was anything to scream about). But I have to say that I'm surprised that Louisa So's in a show that's not produced by Poon Ka Tak cause she tends to do quite a number of Poon Ka Tak shows.

Wow Timothy Cheng. Did he leave TVB for a while and just came back?

He always plays those bad guy roles haha. I wonder if that's the type of role he would take in this drama. And looking at the male side, Ben and Timothy seem like co-leads if there aren't any more siusangs. Good for them!

Stephanie Ho recently said in an (interview?) that she will be participating in a legal drama in June. Would it be this one? She states that co-stars would be Elaine Yiu, Louis Cheung, Grace Chan and Moon Lau.

^ Yes. News has been confirmed.
The cast are: Ben Wong, Stephanie Ho, Elaine Yiu, Grace Chan, Moon Lau, Louis Cheung, Jeanie Chan, Timothy Cheng, Natalie Tong and Ram Tseung

Grace Chan is the female lead according to one of the reports in KuangaiTVB. TVB is planning to push her and Sisley as soon as possible. Sisley on the other hand, leads Cross the Finish Line.

Read about the new line-up at kuangaitvb and hyn5's blog. Hyn5 said the 4 girls that they are referring to in the title of the series are most likely Grace Chan, Jeannie Chan, Stephanie Ho and Moon Lau since the series is about new lawyers.

Out of these 4 we have only seen Jeannie and Stephanie act. I think Jeannie was quite good in M Club but Stephanie on the other hand didn't give me a good impression in Glided Chopsticks. Hope Grace and Moon will be good or at least acceptable.

Is Natalie still confirmed for this? I find it weird if TVB decides to promote newbies over her.

I like Grace, but she said before that being an actress isn't her goal. I think TVB should allow her to do something she's interested in.

xxMiya - Natalie Tong has been going to a lot of courts to learn more about how lawyers work in real-life recently so I think she is still going to be in this series but she probably won't have a big part since she is also going to be in the other series with Anthony Wong.

Natalie, Nancy Wu, Sharon Chan etc are in an awkward position since they are neither first-line or newcomers so it would be tough for them to be promoted to first leads especially with so many fresh faces coming up in TVB.

But if Natalie doesn't have a big part, does she really need to go to courts to learn more about lawyers? lol.

So is Ben getting a first lead this time?

That's true :P

If there won't be any other actors added to the cast then Ben is probably the first lead.

In the time I wasn't looking, the cast for this drama sure changed alot. No more Louisa So D: At least there's Elena Kong. Though I don't even know if i want to watch a huge lot of actresses that I don't know (probably) lead over Elena Kong. And to a smaller extent Elaine Yiu.

But still, modern law drama with Elena Kong and Ben Wong, you got me.

Can't wait to see the Grace & Louis pairing  I'm always supportive of fresh pairings.

Also looks like Natalie did tons of studying for this role. Maybe it'll be another breakthrough for her?

[Four Girls, Three Bars] Grace Chan, Moon Lau, Stephanie Ho and Jeannie Chan will be the leads in the series. The story is about the process of barrister pupils becoming barristers. Bar is the abbreviation of barrister. Ben Wong, Cheng Ji Seng and Ram Chiang will be the executives of three different law firms. Natalie Tong and Elaine Yiu will play lawyers. Joe Chan, the producer, think the four newcomers have talents in acting and that the audience will like them very much.

This does feel like Survivor's Law, where all the leads are newcomers.

blessing ceremony billing list posted by kuangaitvb are normally very accurate because blessing ceremony list is different from costume fitting list as blessing ceremony's listing and billing are the official finalized one.

She also went to court to study for her lawyer role just like Natalie. Two hard working actresses.

Looking at the pictures it seems like Moon Lau is the one who won't become a barrister among the four girls.

Thank you for sharing this with us casual-miriamfanz!

I also think it will air during February/CNY slot because the series is a small production. I have also heard the Charioteers will be airing during Valentines and these two series are similar in that way that the leads are newcomers and there will apparently be a crossover episode so I think it makes sense to air these two series around the same period.

Quid Pro Quo will air on 26th January 2015 replacing Noblesse Oblige, 8: 30 slot

hmm ... previously it's been stated Young Charioteers will get the late jan slot ... guess it's been taken out? Or TVB is saving Sisley Choi's series as her series are in line too closely.

looking forward to Moon Lau though ... I quite like her during the pageant ... she's the few I like besides Sisley Choi

This series just finished filming in middle of September and it is going to air already. That's one of the fastest post-production I have seen, after "Lives of Omission". Except for it being a smaller production I think another reason to why it airs this early is because they want to keep the hype of Ram Chiang and Louis Cheung too as both of them are in QPQ.

I'm looking forward to see the chemistry between the 4 female leads. I really liked the chemistry and friendship that the younger M Club girls had in "Never Dance Alone" so hopefully the producer and the actresses will be able to keep a similar standard this time as well.
