are there any basics to beading? what would be a model for beginners? anyone got a link to a site with the basics? basic techniques?

I bought 2 small kits, a swiss roll and a crepe, turns out the instructions are in japanese. I can sorta understand the diagram but it was hard making the layers of the swiss roll vcurve together, and I wasnt sure how to string a brown layer into one of the white beads to make them stay together because they kept moving

just wondering if there was any other material to look at to get me used to beading first so I can understand it better

thanks

For me as a handicraft maker and a user of beads. The first activity I use to give to my students
was the butterfly decoration using beads, wire for the perfect product.
I recommend you to do the same... because doing it is just easy for kids.
