TVB to seek wider international audience
The General Manager of Television Broadcast Limited, Stephen Chan, says he believes the station's new owners -- who have expertise in the technology industry -- would help TVB reach an even wider international audience.
He's also said there are no plans to change TVB's current programming or marketing.
The Founder and Chairman of TVB -- Hong Kong's biggest free-to-air network, Sir Run Run Shaw, yesterday announced that he'd be selling all his shares in the company.
A group of investors, led by the local Venture Capitalist, Charles Chan, and a Taiwanese entrepreneur, Wang Cher agreed to buy Sir Run Run's 26% stake.
