Michelle Yim refused to admit she had pocketed $2 million HKD
Wednesday April 15, 2009 Hong Kong

There was media report yesterday that Michelle Yim had pocketed $2 million HKD raised by Alam Tam and Nat Chan (阿叻). That sum of money was intended to help pay the medical care for Wan Chi-Keung, Michelle's boyfriend. It was reported that Michelle put the money straight into her account, that let to the speculation that she pocketed the money. Yesterday, Michelle was in Lai Chi Kok Park filming TVB up coming new series "Beyond The Realm Of Conscience". Michelle is usually very friendly with the reporters, but she frown when she saw them yesterday. She told reporters "I have nothing to tell you." She went on to say "You created such news and you expect me to give you the answer." Michelle was asked by the reporter what had happened to the money she was allegedly put in her account, she replied "Say no more, it makes no difference whether I speak out or not. I hope you all wish my boyfriend to have a speedy recovery." The reporter asked her if she had raised fund for his medical care, Michelle replied "No."

There were a lot of onlookers at the Park to see the filming. The audience all said Michelle looked so beautiful that she doesn't look her age . Michelle is in fact over 50 years old. That shows Michelle has been keeping fit and taking care of her skin very well.

I doubt its true that she just took the money for her own use. She doesn't seem like that type of person. And can't blame that she's angry cause reporters are creating false facts about her love to her boyfriend.

She made more than $2 million on her own, why the hell would she need to take this money? This is BS in my opinion. One source gave her '08 earnings at $10 million+ and another at $3 million between late '08 and this year.

Working her ass off (she's also filming in the mainland) while still looking after her bf and all the reporters keep on doing is spread negative rumours. No wonder she's so pissed after dodging so much of this crap. All she usually says is "Thank you for your concern"(Scoop's year-end show made fun of it). Hope Alan Tam and Nat Chan clear this up, since it is their money. Hope her bf recovers soon.

Even if she put the money directly into her bank account doesn't mean she'll pocket the money. If someone gives you a check of $2 million, wouldn't you deposit the money? Where's the proof that she won't pay for her bf's expenses? I feel bad for celebrities sometimes, once they get famous, all these negative news will follow. Although SOME may be true, a lot of it is actually made up or twisted in one way or another.

If the money was raised there should have been some type of trust set up to disperse it for medical bills, though a bank or trust company. Then there are no questions about it.
