Lee Young-ae is enjoying herself raising her twin babies, she told Woman Chosun monthly. The actress disappeared from the limelight after suddenly announcing her marriage in 2009.
"I had a very fulfilling professional life in my 20s and 30s," Lee said. "But I began to feel as if I was climbing one mountain after another. When I was satisfied with how I spent my 20s and 30s, I realized it was time to get married."
Lee, who was photographed with her husband and twin babies to raise money for sick children, said she has been breast-feeding her babies for the past year, and her daughter is still being breast-fed. "I want my babies to have healthy food," she said. "I ate a lot of abalones while I was pregnant because people say they're good for pregnant women, and that's probably why my babies like abalone porridge."
In June, she is to move to a new home close to the woods and a valley in order to raise her kids in a healthy environment. "I plan to live there with my children until they go to school," Lee said.
She also spoke about her husband. "I respect him because he is always by my side. Now we're married I'm pleased that I can go out with him and hold hands with him in public."
The actress has no plans to return to the silver screen yet. "I'm still tempted when I get a request to be in a really good production, but I think there's nothing more valuable than to watch my children grow and to cherish that experience," she said.

The Korean-American singer shares the kind of girl who will catch his eye

Girls, here's how to score a date with Korean-American singer Jay Park.
"If she's not crazy, she could probably get a second date," the singer laughed, during the press conference held at The Fullerton Hotel.
Of course, you'd have to get his attention first.
The singer arrived in Singapore to promote his first full-length Korean album New Breed yesterday and let on that if he starts talking to a girl, who seems like an interesting person, and is attracted to her, he would ask for her number or ask her out; adding that he preferred a girl who is "down-to-earth".
Jay also agreed that title track 'Know Your Name' probably described his outlook on romance: knowing a girl and taking it slow.
"People like to rush into things most of the time, but if there's a girl worth taking it slow, then I think that's what you should do," he said.
Jay debuted as the leader of Korean boy band 2PM back in 2008, but departed from the band a year later, due to controversy over comments he had left on his previous MySpace.
When asked what the biggest difference between being part of an idol group and a solo singer was, the 25-year-old candidly replied, "When you first debut, you don't know much about the business. For me, I'm pretty sure I have more control over my life and my music [now]. I'm thankful and blessed for that."
The amount of creative control Jay had over his music was evident from the production of this ..... (article cut to save bandwidth)

Big Bang, who made waves earlier this year with their Korean mini-album, is set to embark on a large-scale Japanese tour that is expected to pull in approximately 150,000 people and gross over 31.5 billion won (~$27 million USD).
On May 17th, Big Bang will launch their tour, which will be take place in major Japanese cities such as Nagoya, Yokohama, Osaka, Saitama, and Fukoka, for a total of 13 shows. Each show will be playing to an audience of over 10,000 people, resulting in a total audience of over 150,000.
The tour was originally set for only 10 shows, but it was increased to 13 after pre-sales for the tickets, which were initially exclusive for fan club members, sold out completely. The competition for the tickets are to a point that there are currently an increase in the number of scalpers who are reselling the tickets online at a large price. Overall, the tour is expected to gross over $27 million just through ticket sales, and is expected to make extensive additional earnings through various merchandise and memorabilia.
Following the Japan tour, Big Bang will kick off a large-scale world tour, which is expected to span over 16 countries and 25 cities across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Anticipation for this tour is extremely high, as Big Bang’s promotional visits to Taiwan and Vietnam earlier this year resulted in a huge turnout of fans at the airport.
Big Bang will wrap up their “Alive” promotions this week with their finale performance on SBS “Inkigayo” on April 29. After a brief rest, Big Bang will head to Japan for their Japan Tour concert.
Big Bang’s “Alive” promotion had special meanings as it was their first comeback after going through many incidents in the past year. However, it left many records as well, becoming one of the most memorable Big Bang albums in recent memory.
Shortly after the album’s release in March, all seven tracks in “Alive” dominated most online music charts. “Fantastic Baby,” for example, is still in the top 10 of most music charts, even after its release two months ago. The album itself has sold over 270,000 copies, becoming the highest selling album of the year so far.
Also, all three music videos from this album, “Blue,” “Fantastic Baby,” and “Bad Boy,” have recorded over 50 million view counts. The total view counts are all the more impressive considering they were released less than two months ago.
The “Alive” album has also made strides in overseas markets, without running any overseas promotions. It became the first Korean album to crack the Billboard 200 album charts, ranking at #150. It also donned the front page of the Grammy Awards’ official website, showing Big Bang’s growing influence around the world.
Meanwhile, Big Bang will go on an Arena Tour in Japan, covering five cities for 13 total concerts, which is expected to bring in over 150,000 fans.

Boy band TVXQ finished their Japanese tour on a high note on Monday, ending a journey they began in January that saw them cover nine cities including Yokohama, Fukuoka and Nagoya.
They wrapped up the tour with three performances in as many days at the 45,000-capacity Kyosera Dome in Osaka. Thousands of fans packed the area near the stadium for hours before the concerts began, and many stood and cheered throughout the three-hour-long shows.
This tour was TVXQ's first solo concert in Japan since 2010, when the pop quintet downsized to a two-man band after the other members left to form JYJ. The duo's agency, SM Entertainment, said, "The 26-show tour attracted a total of 550,000 concertgoers and brought in around W100 billion in ticket revenues and merchandise sales (US$1=W1,140)."
No other Korean group has attracted an audience of this size on a Japanese tour, it added.
Joon Soo of JYJ will hold his first solo concert from May 19 to 20. According to his agency C-JeS Entertainment on April 20, Joon Soo will hold his first solo concert twice on May 19 and 20 at the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul with 17,000 audience members in attendance.
The tickets for the concert began selling on April 19 at 8 pm and they were all sold out in only five minutes. In addition, Joon Soo will release his first official solo album in the middle of May and hold a concert tour in six Asian countries including Thailand, China, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Macao.
