Hong Kong actor Louis Koo recently stated that child actress Lee Man Kwai has left a deep impression on him while working together on Pang Ho Cheung's "Aberdeen".

As reported on Mingpao, in an interview that was held recently the actor was asked to share the most memorable scene in the movie, to which Louis stated, "I think it would have to be that I have a daughter."

Admitting that though he has always liked kids, playing Lee Man Kwai's father left a big impression on him, saying, "It's the first time I worked with a boyish little girl. She's very tomboyish and in the movie, her character Chloe is very much into [martial arts] Wing Chun."

"I don't usually miss a lot of child actors, but I do think of her from time to time," the actor added. "Children usually like me too. Maybe that's because I don't say much when they hit and pinch me."

The popular variety show feels abashed about his earlier comment on celebrities whose parents hail from showbiz

Veteran Taiwanese variety show host Jacky Wu recently made a remark on how second generation celebrities are “useless.” The public was shocked by his comments as many stars such as Mark Chao and Vincent Liang are second generation celebrities, and it may have offended some of them.
However, the chatty host had to eat his words yesterday when he arrived at a celebration organised for his daughter, Sandy Wu, who ventured into showbiz last year and hosts an online variety show that has garnered more than a hundred million views. It was a celebration organised by the crew to congratulate her for her success.
When reporters asked if his “useless second generation celebrities” comment extended to his daughter, Jacky appeared rather abashed and said that the statement was only made to create a dramatic effect on his show.
“The stage is like a boxing show,” he said. “I won't say these things when I'm no longer on stage.”
More questions regarding his daughter's work were asked, such as, will he allow her to film kissing scenes?
“No kissing scenes, unless it's with Ang Lee,” he replied in jest.
Jacky even revealed that he had once bought an apartment and car for Sandy when she was studying in an integrated arts programme at the Washington State University in America. Sandy then added that at that time, their finances were actually rather tight.
“Yes, and she sold it all off in the end,” he added.

Hong Kong singer Alan Tam uploaded a photo of him posing with David Beckham, holding a football jersey that sported an autograph from the former English footballer.
The two had run into each other at the 18th China Music Awards yesterday. David had been invited to attend the event, while Alan was there to receive the prestigious “China Music Lifetime Achievement Singer” award.
In 1987, the veteran singer had announced his decision to quit award ceremonies, and last night's award was the first time in 27 years that he had broken his oath.
It was also his first time requesting for an autograph from his idol. Alan gushed, “I've finally made an exception to ask for an autograph publicly and even got invited to sit and have a drink (with David)!”
After the ceremony, Alan revealed that Alan & Hacken Live, a collaboration concert between him and Hong Kong singer Hacken Lee, was awarded with the “Best Concert of the Year” award, but his buddy was unable to attend the event because he was busy filming the World Cup theme song for TVB.
Recently, Alan and Hacken have both purportedly rejected to host for TVB's World Cup programme because of their concert tour. Alan explained, “There are a lot of things to shoot beforehand for TVB (if we accept the roles), but we'll begin preparations for our tour the day after. Hence, we won't be able to accept the hosting job, and can only help with the recording of the theme song.”
