korean writing is easier than anything ive come across. its incredibly simple.

Yeah the writing part isn't as hard. Definitely not as hard as Chinese but I wouldn't say it's the easiest though. English is the easiest to me, and all the other languages that are made up of letters. I get the vowels and consonants.. I can pronouce the words and all, but it's just so hard to remember what each word means.

well thats cuz u already know english. if u consider english from a new-comer's perspective, it definitely isnt easy. there r just way too many rules and exceptions. u see how useful things like spellcheck are for us? many words we commonly hear are easy to mispell if ur not cautious. the only way u can know how to spell something is to actually memorize it. sounding it out and spelling it will frequently yield the wrong spelling. even the word "wrong" can be spelling "rong" and its like exactly the same sound, yet "rong" is definitly wrong. lol. its not like that in korean for the most part, cuz they spell according to sound, not memorization. some of it is memorization, but a lot of it can be sounded out and it will come out correctly. and yeah, chinese is prolly the hardest language to write in. cuz u have to memorize all the characters. hehe. oh well.

Hello.. I used a this Roman-to-Hangul Convertion Service thing and typed in Michelle but it turned out like this ---> 및헤ll에

hmm well that would emphasise how people will pronounce it though as in the "ch" in Michelle has a "sh" sound whereas 헤 is just "he" (pronounced like "hair" drop the "r") so right now 및헤ll에 word for word sounds like "mich" "he(hair lose the "r") " e ("hair" lose the "h" and "r")

so if you want the prnounciation to sound similar it would probably be along the lines of 미셀 as in korean the "5" (opposite way of looking) ^_^' is pronounced with either a "R" sound or an "L" sound.

What does "Quen Cha na" (sorry for the spelling) mean? Does it mean its okay? I was listening to a Bijou song and through out the song, the girl singer repeats that word over and over again.. and i heard it many times in "Goong" too but i just cant remember what it meant!! Thanx

that might be the other way of writing i love you since there are four ways.

- saranghaeyo- 사랑해요
- saranghae - ??
- saranghamnida - ??
- saranghanda -

saranghaeyo & saranghae ( more like to husband, bf/gf kinda thing )
saranghamnida ( more like to people in general )
saranghanda ( i think to a friend or like sisters and brighers)

hope this helps... SARANGHAMIDA ! :wasntme

- saranghaeyo- I love you in a polite way
- saranghae - I love you in a laid back wayasi
- saranghamnida - I'm loving you in a polite way
- saranghanda - I'm loving you in a laid back way.

Basically all those four means 'I love you'. But, if there is something attached at the back (yo, da, stuff like that) it's more... polite? Ergh... I dunno. It's formal.

안녕하세요, 제 이름은 소미입니다.
여러분들이 한국말에 괌심을 많이 주셔서, 한국인이로서 저는 기쁩니다.
^^*

Chu ar means (I like you) for example.
They use another word for sh*t like "dom" ^_^'

Chu ar... Um. That's not even Korean. lol.
I like you = Na neun ni ga jo ah.
& Dom? What is that? lol. Sh*t in Korean means ''Ddong''
which is unformal word of poop. lol
